I like the Pedag heel grips. They are suede, so are both soft and grippy. Like all these things, they work for shoes that need a minor adjustment. If you only need to stop them from slipping or you need a 1/2 size adjustment, then they will be perfect. Unfortunately, they won't make a full size adjustment (sadly, she says, looking at the one pair that they failed her on). They are definitely worth a little extra. I bought six sets from my cobbler the last time I was in for a shoe repair. You can also stick them to the top of a shoe like a ballet flat, just where your toe cleavage starts, to push your toes back a bit in the shoe and get a bit more size adjustment.
