We are having a massive heat wave here! We went camping at Denali National Park for five days, and it hit 93 degrees! Needless to say the views were spectacular and if anyone is interested I will post some pix of bears, sheep, moose, and the mountain.

In the meantime, I am scrambling for clothes to wear each day. My hot-weather vacation clothes are not work-appropriate. I wore Ceit's cloud dress today with cage sandals and got three compliments.

New job starts on Monday. Had an orientation meeting yesterday and saw that the dress code is more casual than I thought. Women in t-shirt-like blouses and cotton skirts, men in shirts and ties. None of the women were wearing suits or even blazers, and everyone had on open-toed sandals. I'm still going to err on the side of formal to start, but looks like I won't have to panic after all. And have found some AGLs on ebay to try at a reasonable price.
