Still inching downward--literally by the inch. This week I could wear pants that I haven't fit into for months. Great relief. I did have a couple of 10,000 steps days as well. Right now, mid-afternoon, I'm up to 4681, thanks to grocery shopping. Now that I think about it, I have succeeded in banishing refined sugar and starches from my eating--I should be able to make it the rest of the way.
This week I want to increase walking and continue to work on posture exercises, which I have let slip away somehow.
dianthus--it is amazing how sensitive our bodies can be to a certain type food and gain 2-3 pounds nearly overnight. I find that it gets worse as I get older. My hope is that keeping track with a food diary will help identify the food that is going to trigger a short term gain, usually on the belly, so that I don't get discouraged by a sudden gain. I know there are folks who can go without ever weighing, or who weigh once a week, but that doesn't work for me anymore.
