I maintained this week, which is good.
DH had carpal tunnel surgery on his left hand Friday--he was stressed and so was I. I don't know why, this is the 3rd surgery this surgeon has done on his hands, fingers, and she always does an excellent job. He had a series of freak accidents after he retired--actually he narrowly avoided a 4th surgery. He still has to have the surgery on his right hand. Wait--that's just his hands--there was the twig poked in his eye and major surgery to repair a misbehaving prior major surgery, with 18 ERCPs in between. And two sepsis emergencies.
How many football games can one person watch in one weekend and not go start raving mad? And the 49ers game still hasn't begun. Thank goodness for the America's Cup to provide a side show. At least it keeps him on the sofa with his hand up on pillows. No typing until Tuesday.
Oh, he finally went back to work after failing retirement. He's safer there.
So I'm happy to have maintained weight despite not getting nearly the number of steps I usually get. Maybe I'll get some shopping steps in this week.
