Citygirl, congrats on running a half marathon! How did it go? Don't feel bad about taking a break, you deserve it! Weight training is good though, and you don't need too much time to do it. I would say start off with 2-3x per week, maybe 20-25 min just to get in the habit. Once you're in the habit it will be much easier to keep up, and maybe extend it if you want to.
