I haven't checked in here for a while.....probably because things haven't been going so great. For the last month I've had an incredibly painful neck/shoulder that despite regular physiotherapy isn't going away. I also haven't been sleeping well, and that combined with waking up in pain isn't a good start to the day. I have only been exercising 1-2 times per week, and really trying to minimise activities that might further exacerbate my neck/shoulder issues. Food has also been awful - too many lazy options, too many indulgences, too much wine!
However I've decided that the only way for things to get better are to make them better myself. It's not all doom and gloom. I went to a Power Yoga class yesterday, and my neck hasn't pulled up too much sorer today, so I'll try again tomorrow. In terms of food I got a new blender last week, so I can now make my beloved smoothies and soups again (depending on which is more weather appropriate).
So my main goals for this week are more sleep, more home cooked food that isn't just a sandwich. Of course I am going away for easter, so that's going to make things difficult!
