A wonky right shoulder is causing me some grief, so I am avoiding swimming and biking for the moment. Running has been picked up, though I am doing it in the gym due to the extreme heat and humidity of the past weeks. Averaging 3-4 outings per week. Enjoying Yoga Immensly and getting in 2 sessions a week. Wish I could attend more!
I am adjusting to the change in lifestyle since the move to southern Ontario a little over a year ago. The big challenge is the long commute making a work day 12 hours vs 9. Fortunately the hour commute is spent on a train - not a subway car, or in an automobiile. Gym time has been slotted in. Eating dinner at 7 pm vs 5:30-6:00 has exacerbated some gastro issues, but reducing pm carbs, and limiting snacking after dinner has helped - though not eliminated the problem. I am getting about 1-1.5 less hours of sleep in the pm, but do get in a snooze on the train. Sleep is interrupted and this may be due to perimenaupasal hormones.
Weight the past 25 years was steady in the 150-155 range, with the exception of 2 pregnancies. During the year of the move I lost some weight and plateaued at 140. I have been this weight for 18 months +/- so don't anticipate that I will go back. (Body shape remains unchanged and only clothing alteration is bottoms in 8 fit better than 10.)
Some good news! At eye check-up this week, prescription unchanged and pressure smack in the middle of normal!
