Well done on the moderation, weight loss and the strong lifts Shedev. I'm with you on not wanting to cut out more stuff when one is already celiac!
Runcarla - ah Deadlifts - I know them well! A favourite of both my personal trainer and the physio I'm seeing for my knee issues
I actually wrote about my lunch on last wee's thread so I'll just paste
My standard packed lunch includes a small hard boiled egg for morning tea, then some roast pumpkin and/or sweet potato and some cherry tomatoes and a tin of tuna. I'm trying to increase the vegie component - today I filled a 400ml container and had some chickpeas, and roast cauli and broccoli as well (or I'll add leftover veg)"
Not doing as well in today's lunch - only sweet potato and cherry tomoatos - no other veg, and I forgot the legumes. I'll have plenty with my evening meal though.
My food intake is having a sort of agreed departure from the straight and narrow. DD turned 13 and we had plenty of treats for the day and will again tonight for her family party. Have tried to eat a bit lighter to make up, but haven't looked to see the damage on the scales because the weather is so cold (by our standards) that I don't want to get naked in the bathroom first thing in the morning!
My knee continues to trouble me, and I left my gym bag on the bus last week and this loss has hampered my workouts (happily I didn't lose the expensive running shoes )
Am working on getting more sleep, and my new fitbit tells me I've added to my weekly sleep by a few more minutes. However this is largely from the weekend and from one night where a bad headache forced me to bed early.
My iron levels have gone up to (Fe 20) which is an improvement, but not adequate yet. More yucky iron tablets! (or maybe I should try the liquid ones someone here recommended)
