Last Wednesday I made some commitments to myself prompted by some jeans being particularly tight around the waist.
1.No cheese as a snack between meals
2.No refined sugar in the week (Cake/chocolate/biscuits/fudge) - can have fresh fruit. Exception small amount brown sugar or honey on porridge. Very minimal dried fruit.
3.No sugary drinks
4. 5 lots exercise per week
5. Increase protein and vege content of meals.
It was not 100% successful but overall everything was okay.
1. I did eat cheese as a snack once.
2. From Wed to Friday I had no refined sugar, in the weekend I had one piece of cake (allowed)
3. I did have a glass of cranberry juice due to a UTI that flared up in the weekend - this contains sugar.
4. I pulled my hamstring at the gym on Friday so had Saturday off, then yesterday carted around lots of pavers for our backyard renovation which twinged it, so could not exercise. It was all right at the gym this morning. So I managed 4/5.
5. Did okay on this one, but still room for improvement.
Onwards and upwards, will keep going.
