After a week of cutting out most sugar and dairy, I am down about 3 pounds. The top level of my (personal comfortable) "range" is looking pretty close.
I am now used to drinking my tea black and going to bed without my cup of hot milk. I hope to keep up those 2 habits even when I reintroduce dairy.
I did have a couple of hungry days - need to work out how to compensate for what I am not eating in a way that doesn't use the same calories. Dh said he had some chocolate for me on Valentines day but he'd give it to me when the month was over!
I did 3 run/walks and a pump class and tried to take the long walk to and from the bus whenever possible.
