Remember this sweatshirt? http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/ke.....enumsearch I pre-ordered back in I think February. It's not going to ship till May 20th. And even then the pre-order is not a guarntee that I'll get it. It's been so long in coming I wondering if my ardor has cooled a bit. Admittedly it could be a very practical item for Seattle summers. What do you think?

It's really cute. But I can see how you might think that a June delivery is a little late. Do you have comparable items?

I think there will always be something new and shiny out there. I think having to wait so long for a piece is off-putting. Are they weaving it out of fairy hair and bluebells or something? Is the scarcity also something that attracts you when shopping?

Mind you, I don't like having to wait for things!

I think it's a cool sweatshirt, very neat style in the front along the hem, and practical. Also, really great colors for you!! That said, can you wait and see if it ships, then return if you really have changed your mind? Or are you thinking to cancel altogether? I think wait and try on, and return ASAP if you don't like it.

Kenzo is so hot right now, owning this sweater is like a fashion badge of honour. I can see the appeal and also understand how doubt has crept in after this torturous wait.

Do you want this sweater more than the sandals at Lambs Ear? If the sweater is not number one on your wishlist now I would be tempted to let it go.

I vote pass. Something better is going to come your way. But keep the sweatshirt idea alive. That's a much better idea than another pair of high Summer shoes for our non-existent high Summer.

I'd break the SYC for the LDT sandals before the sweatshirt, honestly.

I think if you have to ask yourself the question, you should wait and get something you are in love with. I do like the idea of fun sweatshirt, though. I can really see it incorporating into your style and getting a lot of year round use.

If your enthusiasm is waning and you haven't even received an item (any item) yet, I'd vote pass. I'd think you'd only get less excited over anything over time, so you should start off at the highest level of adoration possible.

OMG, looking at that shirt again, all I could think of was Ernie from Sesame Street. The stripes. It's cute but not droolworthy. Why don't you "return" it and put it towards something else?

I think you should pass. Second thoughts, plus a long wait, is not a recipe for fashion excitement when the mail finally arrives. Also, if it means anything, I was a bit disappointed when I opened the link. I think it would be much cuter without the Kenzo logo!

I agree with Thistle. If you are asking yourself the question, you already know the answer. There are better things out there and I this this sweatshirt would become dated quickly.
