I did some major damage at Shopbop ... haven't had a chance to try any of it on yet. I got some boots, a tote bag and a freaky looking pair of R13 jeans. We'll see if they work out.

There are a ton of sales online, but I haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet. I need to sit down and make a Christmas gift list and see if I can take advantage of any of the weekend discounts.

I never shop Black Friday, so this is somewhat of a shock. Long sought after black flats with style in the details. I saw them at Nordstrom, they were out of my size, so I searched and found them at Neiman Marcus. When I pulled the trigger, they were 35% off the sale price, but they seem to have removed that bonus since I hit the order button.

Then I decided to check my Finds to see if anything else was on sale. The Athleta dress was 70% off, the pants came in around 50% off.

Putting the credit card away now.

No Black Friday deals here (I usually do better on Cyber Monday), but I did score a fabulous navy Burberry coat recently that I'm having a hard time taking off. Is is weird to sleep in a coat?

Not fashion or even style, but I've learned that this is the best time of year (25% off) to buy Thorlo socks which are uber padded for my fussy feet. I decided I want/need hiking socks for my hiking shoes. I am between sizes so I ordered the larger size which will fit DH if they turn out to be too large for me. They will remain on sale until Jan., I believe, at gobros.com; no minimum for free S/H.

Well, one good thing about spending time on the ranch: my spending takes a definite hiatus. Before the holiday, I ordered the long printed topper/jacket from Nordstrom, and a couple of pairs of black booties to try when I get home. But that's it. I did get a new pair of running shoes and some new running socks to replace the old beat up ones here at the ranch, but those don't count in my book. Not feeling the shopping bug so much these days, which is good. I flipped through some of the online picks, but nothing is really jumping out at me.
