This is supposedly a good NAS for jackets, so I took a look. Both of these appeal to me, but they could both go wrong very easily. I don’t need fake fur to look real, but I also don’t want it to look/feel clownishly fake. The pink jacket is called a moto, which usually means huge lapel flaps that I dislike, but it seems the hood on this one might make that impossible. Also, they both have bell sleeves. That might be good over sweaters, or it might make me cold & necessitate a trip to the tailor to stitch down some of that extra fabric between elbow & cuff. It should be an easy fix, as there is no welt, folded-over cuff or anything on either.

I’ve never cared about NAS before, and the prices are still mostly too high for me but....

I know I want another warm jacket. Not a parka for the Arctic, but an alternative for when it’s too chilly for the red puffy, my blue wool coat is too dressy, and I don’t want to wear my leather bomber, for whatever reason. I had a couple ideas of what I was looking for, but nothing hard & fast. The most solid idea I had was something soft: maybe a velvet puffy or a car coat with a ruffle. These aren’t that, but they do combine sporty and practical with fluffy in a similar way. I like that they are light-colored; I crave variation from all the dark colors in winter.

A concern about the pink one is that it might be too close to my puffy vest. No, they don’t look alike, but in terms of function in my wardrobe and what I wear each with, the jacket could be duplicating the vest.

If you’ve seen them and can comment on quality and overall impression, I’d appreciate it.
