Have you seen red jeans anywhere?

I have this crazy vision of a boho cream-colored blouse with red jeans and nude platform sandals. But I can't find red jeans anywhere! GAP has something new but they are the dreaded capri length ... I need them to be full length.

Has anyone seen any red jeans in store or online?

Do you follow my tweets, Laura? I saw a fab pair in the Men's department at H&M yesterday. You should try them on. I'm going to, once the smallest size comes back into stock. I plan to belt them like 501's 90's style. I don't know if it will work, but I'll have fun in the process. I do not want skinny red jeans.

And I bought that killer striped tee at Talbots yesterday. The sky must be falling down.

I've been jonesing for some red jeans, too! Those eBay jeans look like just what I've been searching for, even though they will be miles too long for me! Fortunately I just acquired a measuring tape so I will measure myself when I get home to see what size I need.

I saw some lightweight light red jeans (almost coral) at H&M over the weekend but they were out of the smaller sizes.

Angie, I do follow you! Somehow I missed that one - not sure about my hips & men's jeans getting along very well but it might be worth a try next time I'm near H & M.

Thanks for all the links, Mo & Anna - I want bootcut or straight leg, not super low cut, so none of those is quite right - of course now I not only want red jeans but I'm going to be picky about it, right?!

Hmm, I have had some for about three years, that I have still not hemmed yet... They are from a strange brand that I can't remember, but I bought them in the U.S. I will keep my eyes peeled for your outfit, because in case I ever do hem them, then I will need to figure out how to wear them!

Laura I was going to suggest H&M as well, not because I have any idea of their current stock (since there are none in Australia - boo!) but because I got myself a pair of red skinny pants (not jeans) there 2 years ago when I was in the US and am still loving them. Crossing my fingers for you!!!

I have been looking for red pants or jeans for awhile now and it is the only place I have been able to find any style pant in a nice bright red so far is Zara, but none are jeans. The H&M ones looked more orangey-red to me (the women's ones I saw at least, which I didn't think were jeans). It is good to know the Gap now has an option as I am a size larger than Zara carries in pants (luckily I don't mind crop).

I want red skinnies but haven't found a pair that are not low rise. What kind of leg opening are you looking for? I'll let you know if I find anything for myself that might work.

I've been looking for a pair of red jeans for a while now but I want either straight jeans or skinnies. I thought this would be fairly easy since I was under the impression that they have them at teenybopper stores all the time but I haven't found anything at F21, H&M, or Delia's so far. But obviously I'm fine with a relatively low quality pair. I think this will be a fleeting trend, so I am not willing to pay a lot of money.

I actually have a pair by Guess that I thrifted last year thinking I would have lost the weight to squeeze into them by now. HA HA, excuse me while I choke bitterly.

Maybe I'll post a pic for opinions and if they don't work, put 'em up for grabs (size 28 but I'd say more like a 2/4 or 26/27 depending on how skin-tight you want).

Maya, I'm hoping for straight leg, or bootcut. But at this point I wonder if I'll wind up with skinnies. That might work, given that the boho tops I have are voluminous.

I don't know what kind of budget you have. I am new at buying jeans and usually do not/can't spend a lot of money....artists budget. I did see a nice selection of red and REALLY red jeans at Newport News....I think the quality is similar to H&M although some people think it's better.

I have purchased two pairs of their stretch denim and find them comfortable and flattering.

Thanks for the H&M tip-off! MH will be thrilled. 20 years ago when we met, he bought a pair of beige jeans which we later dyed red. He's still got them - God knows how many times I've patched and re-patched them, they are literally falling apart and every seam had been undone and redone. Still, he won't let go of them until he finds a replacement.
