All the espadrilles I've ever seen have flat footbeds, which means no arch support no matter how cushy they are. Have any of you tried adding insoles with arch support, and how did it work out? Since these shoes are typically for summer wear the insole would need to be a fabric that works with bare feet I think, not plain leather.
