And I need to get a haircut, but cannot get an appointment. Situation is dire, with this asymmetrical style. I may have to go to the haircut bus that comes to my workplace here.

Elly, the beadwork necklace is Forever 21. My daughter and I hit up that store, LOL. I'm into beadwork though. I learned to do basic beadwork at this *wild women's week* summer camp, and I just love the feel of it. I like to make little teensy weensy purses.

Oh but the haircut bus! Have to tell you guys about the haircut bus. My latest writing gig is at a serious serious company: t.v. in the elevators, carb counts in all the restaurants, private mass transit system, private emergency alert system, authors coming to speak, sabbaticals... and the haircut bus!

They bus stylists in once a week and you can get your hair cut on campus. The location is a little remote, so it's a bit hard to do normal lunch time errands - like go to the post, etc.

Ya. Serious company. It's pretty surreal, actually. Have I mentioned yet there's wi-fi on the buses? So you can read mags on your iPad while commuting?

I need the haircut bus to come to my place tomorrow morning!

In the meantime, I love that blouse - really pretty on you and the necklace is fab too.

Why not try the haircut bus? I know it's slightly inconvenient, in that you'll have to take a company shuttle to the far-flung building on campus (my husband's office is like this too), but still - with WiFi on the bus, it's not like you won't get anything done. I bet the haircut bus is pretty darned good.

I think you hair looks better than you think! But I understand, I made an appointment today at a new salon cos mine are booked and I have just past that stage of looking untidy to looking like a wild animal. Sounds like we need a Hair Bus here.

Aida - under the blouse is an old, long-sleeved tissue tee, also from Target. I guess Target watches what they sell, so that everything goes together. LOL.

I haven't met anyone yet who's done the haircut bus. It's a big RV kinda thing. Looking at the outside of it, I'm thinking the haircuts happen right on the bus. I'm starting to seriously think of trying it, just for the experience.

I think my stylist is a bit tired of me. Since moving, it's a big drive for me and I've been late the last couple of times. She also offered me a free colour (in exchange for being a model and since I'm poor now and gave up colour) and I had to pass it up. I'm thinking I should stop bothering her... and do the haircut bus.
