I think that with the white booties, you won't know until you try. I have similar coloring to you and wear similar colors (dark neutrals) in my wardrobe, and I do think that it would require a bit of thought to make them work in your closet. But they might end up being really fun. I've been looking for a pair but so far haven't found one that ticks all the boxes.
I did order a pair (which didn't work out for comfort reasons), and I discovered that they may be trickier for me than I thought, because my legs are very pale and so don't have much contrast with the booties if I want to wear the booties bare-legged with skirts. I also found that I didn't really care for the look of the white booties with opaque, dark-colored tights--only with my nude microfishnets (which darken my skin tone slightly but enough to create some contrast with the bootie). So the outfits and seasons in which I could wear such a bootie may be more limited than I realize.
I also worry about how to keep the booties clean and looking new. How long will they last before they have scratches and marks? And if I wear them underneath jeans, will the dye from the jeans rub off on the bootie shaft, staining it? I am honestly tortured by these questions and may need professional help, lol!
