Have I lost my mind??

I bought two color jeans (this is such a big trend here!).

They are not premium jeans but I Think they fit well, the problem is that:

Can I mix this trend into my style and make it work or do you think it has nothing to do with me and I should return them (they still have the price tags)?

How do I style it?

I loved the look I got for the red pants, but not the one for the blues (maybe because the jacket is too big.. all my clothes from last year are too big

wow, the red looks amazing! With the blue, i think you need lighter tops, I think it'd look fab with white/cream, floral, softer colors, etc.

I would try the blue with a gray top, and both of them with a white or black and white top. You look great in them.

I vote, perhaps, return the blue. It gets really hot in Portugal and you love dresses. How often will you wear the blue skinnies in Autumn and Winter, Rute? And you also love your neutrals. Just my 2 cents

I like the red, this outfit looks like you. Do you normally wear that color blue, though? That outfit doesn't strike me as something you'd usually wear.

HI Rute ! You look so fabulous !! I think it is your style....strong and decisive and very "clean". I agree with Angie that maybe two pairs is too much for you. I love them both, but I think that I would vote red over blue. Though no matter which you pick, you can't go wrong and you have lots of neutrals to go with it.

I am not a psychologist, I don't think that you have lost your mind but if you have, you look GREAT doing it !!! I don't usually look that good even when I am sane.

The red looks amazing on you! I think the current bright blue with stong black is too striking for me. . . I'd try styling it more with white/cream? Otherwise, if you are looking for ways to decide on just one -- keep the red.

The red are soooo fun, Rute! I think you can mix those in with classic pieces like you have already done. I'm not so fond of the blue--I think perhaps I'm more used to seeing the red skinnies out in the blogoshpere.

I love both of these but agree with others about maybe picking one pair if you are unsure about how well you can integrate them into your existing style. I love the red ones with the warm neutrals you've paired them with; I think the blue ones would look great for spring/summer if they were paired with light gray, silver, white, etc.

I love them both, and I like both outfits, but I can see that they are a bit of a style departure for you. I'm siding with Angie on this one...keep the red because I think they're more your style and would be easier for you to fit into your wardrobe, but return the blue.

I like both of these and have been looking for some myself! Red definitely seems more your color if you have to choose only one pair. I would come up with some outfits for the blue ones to see if you will really wear them.

Some years ago I had some jeans of that shade of blue and although I loved them I remember wearing them only with a black shirt and a orange one I had(I know, strange).
This being said and although I love the color I think you might have a hard time thinking about items to wear with them.
The red ones are gorgeous.Keep them for sure.

Rute, this does seem like a departure in style for you. The jeans fit beautifully, but the question to me is do you enjoy the look enough to get enough wear out of it? Of the two looks I do prefer the red, but you can certainly pull off both.

Not sure why I prefer the red to the blue, but I do. I think you have taken a trend and made it your own, adding a sophisticated blouse and heels that are characteristic of your style.
