Does anyone have recommendations for a hat to keep the sun off your face that can be worn during exercise?

I like athletic sun visors with adjustable Velcro and elastic bands. They also make full caps. I purchase mine from running stores, but you can get them anywhere. They stay in place and shade your eyes and face from the sun. Some come with flaps to protect your neck and ears from the sun too. I wear waterproof sunscreen. I haven't been sunburned, even when running a marathon.

I just bought a BCG visor and hat at the local Academy sports equipment store. The visor is for when I want to avoid hat hair, and the hat is for when I don't care about my hair and just want to cover everything up.

They both fit securely and are fully adjustable.

I wear a Lululemon running hat, or a golf visor . Not terribly interesting, but does the trick.

I have a Fafada UV 50 Protection Sun Shield Flap Hat Cap Mask https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MZQGLGO/ that I use when running in the sun, but if anyone has any better ideas I too would love to hear them. I do feel very silly wearing that getup.

That one is very Beau Geste, Sarah! I guess I will try a baseball cap and extra sunscreen. I don't like baseball caps, but I really need to keep the sun off my face.

I use a baseball cap, I have one in a hot pink that matches the stripes on my athletic sneakers (probably I'm the only one who notices!), but the color makes me happy.

I wear a Tilley AND sunscreen unless it's super windy, and then I wear a ballcap that I cinch down. I'm not a runner, though. It looks like MFF's hat you could remove the face part for breathing.

I wear a ginormous visor with a neck strap that I bought at a Korean market. It is tinted and can be adjusted up and down. I bought a half dozen because I knew it would not last forever.

I don't run but for hiking and walking I generally wear something like this wide-brimmed hat with a tie at the back (I believe I own this particular one):

It stays on pretty well in the wind, but a bucket-style hat with tie (and less protection) does better for me in those conditions.

Generally I find San Diego Hat Co, Betmar, Scala, and Columbia all have fairly reasonably priced options that get the job done.

True coverage requires a wide brim, but it will get attacked by branches while hiking. Adjustable with ties is important when you don't want to be holding onto your hat all day!
