Has anyone tried the shoe brand L'AMOUR DES PIEDS?

I feel like my hobby is buying and then returning shoes in my quest for cute comfortable shoes with padded insoles and strong arch support. Has anyone tried this brand and if so, is there strong arch support?

Never heard of them.

If you need such strong arch support, have you considered custom inserts?

No great arch support
I got these last year but after awhile they were not so comfy so I've passed them on.

njw, that is my hobby too! Paul Green is my shoe of choice, but I have also tried Arche recently. I haven't tried this brand and will follow the thread with interest.

They are a new brand carried by Nordstroms and the reviews on the Nord. site are great but afraid they are not from people with "problem" feet. Thank you unfrumped for sharing your experience. Jane glad to know I not the only one who has this hobby. Think I will take a break from buying & returning shoes...and not order this brand.

I have tried them on a couple of times and thought they felt like "butter" on my feet. I have narrowish feet, bunion on my right foot and a very high arch. I did not purchase because the style was not quite right for what I was looking for but they seemed very comfortable to me. I would characterize my feet as somewhat fussy. Not sure if this helps or not. I can still wear heals but must be under 3". I still keep my eye on them and hope one day a pair may work for me.

It looks like they are associated with J.Renee shoes. There is no "about us" info on either website, or on Nordstrom's site, which sells both brands.

Interesting...I once tried JRenee when looking for MOG shoes for our son's wedding and they had no where near enough support or cushioning for my poor feet. So guessing that will also be true for the "L'Amour" brand ...when I saw them at Nordstroms last week they were stylish but hahaha...too stylish for why my feet require...I am always on the hunt for work shoes..thought perhaps I had just overlooked a possible brand option but now fairly sure this is not one of those

Arcopedico's are well known own for their arch support. Not sure if you are looking for casual or more dressy styles. They are heavenly on my high arch foot, but very casual styles

have to ask...I am always confused when someone says high arch...sorry for my ignorance on this...does that mean you don't need much arch support?

njw -- a high arch is the opposite of a flat foot. The inside edge of the sole doesn't touch the ground when you walk. A good arch support means the inside of the shoe is built up there, so your foot touches something rather than nothing as you walk. I hope that makes sense.

And anybody who has found a good arch support insert, I'd love to hear.

I tried them and I have unusually high arches. They do have high arches, but they ran large and wide also. They didn't fit my foot, so I had to return them. Also, the footbed didn't bend in the right place for my foot.

No idea about the shoes, just commiseration on ordering and returning. I went through a couple rounds recently to get my current sandals. I'll wear them almost daily through early Nov, so they have to be right, but whew! So glad to be done with the shuffle. Good luck on your quest.

I recently turned myself in to a physical therapist on referral from my doctor. I was having knee pain and was diagnosed with Runner's Knee, which is a joke to anyone who knows me. It's getting better with exercises. But the point for me is: I have very high arches and insteps and have always prided myself for not needing arch support when normal shoes never even touched my arches. How wrong I was! Turns out my knee problems are exacerbated by the fact that all my weight was being born solely between my forefoot and heel, nothing in between. The resulting "shock" from lack of arch support was being transferred to my knees. Enter Superfeet Green insoles. What a difference they make!

They don't fit into every pair of shoes I own, but are good with most of my everyday walking shoes.
