Has anyone tried on Eileen Fisher shoes?

I am kind of obsessed with these:

I have been looking for boots like these for a long time, to replace my poor quality but useful BC platform booties. They tick all my boxes: 2" effective heel height, big platform to make me tall, black with black sole, not a wedge.
I'm wondering if anyone has tried her shoes though and if they're comfortable and well-made enough to be worth the price. (Regardless I am probably still going to sale stalk for a while since the price is at the high end of my range right now.)

I have two pairs of Eileen Fisher sandals, and they are my favorites!
They're super comfortable and well made. If the booties are anything like the sandals I can highly recommend them.

Oh Shannon does see them....and LIKES them...A LOT! They are the perfect balance of refined and unrefined IYKWIM. Exactly what I'm looking for.

I really wish that more retailers would have pics on actual bodies. It is so hard to judge from just a static shot.

I think these are really unique-looking, killer shoes. The EF quality is probably great (well, assuming here) and to me, the price may be high but honestly not that much higher than other similar items out there. Definitely stalk.

OK, definitely going to stalk these. If I happen to go by the EF store or bloomingdales I'll definitely try them on.

Wow, didn't realize the EF made shoes/boots! I really like the first pair and if they are comfy (which I would think they would be) I would get them in a heart beat!

OK, Bloomingdales currently has a $100 off $300 promo going on (today only, I think) and these, being exactly $300, just make the cutoff. At that price, they are affordable for me, plus they have free returns so I went ahead and ordered. They are backordered though and supposed to ship in 38 days, so I'll have a while to wait.

I have a pair of EF moto boots from last year and a pair of grey cage sandals from this summer, both purchased from Garnet Hill. I LOVE them both! Both are excellent quality and will continue to be work horses in the seasons to come.

The EF size that fits me best is 1/2 size smaller than my usual size. I am usually a size 8 - 8.5 in shoes and an 8.5 in sandals (Frye, Franco Sarto, Pikolinos, Clarks Indigo are some of my favs). The EF size 7.5 boot and the size 8 sandal were both the best fit for me. Hope this helps!

38 days!? That's a long wait. But you probably won't need them before then, fortunately, right?

Good thing I don't need a pair of black booties. These are gorgeous.

Firecracker, I know! 38 days is so long to wait! I am on team wear too... but I guess that would make it mid-September which is just about the start of boot season here anyway. I think the initial run (around when I first posted about them) sold out almost immediately, but I'm wondering if there will be some returns, so I might get them more quickly.
