I own two (actually 3, if you count socks) pieces from Betabrand. Generally, I think their strengths run more to concept and marketing than execution.
This sweater: https://www.betabrand.com/wome.....tunic.html I bought this as a replacement for an amazing cashmere tunic hoodie I had from Athleta. I've worn it quite a bit, but it's never lived up to its predecessor. The acrylic fabric has pilled quite a bit, and it just doesn't breathe in a comfortable way. I do like the shape of it, and the sporty thumbholes.
These pants: https://www.betabrand.com/wome.....pants.html I really wanted to love these, as they seemed perfect for my lifestyle, but a) unless you tuck in your top to expose the waistband, they pretty much just look like yoga pants, b) they have stitches coming out everywhere. Mostly, it's decorative stitching, rather than structural, but no, pants in the $80 range shouldn't do that.
I also have a pair of socks they sent me when my pants order took weeks to arrive: https://www.betabrand.com/mens.....-pack.html I'll hand it to them. The socks are fab, and they make me laugh every time I put them on.
