Is it nice?

The express one like it was too short in the arms so I am looking for a replacement.

Should I have just had the arms lengthened?

I haven't seen these coats -- but I have found that lengthening sleeves is a bit pricey if the jacket is lined or if there is detail at the cuff.

I have seen both. The first one is unflattering and the second is great, but it was too short on the arm if I recall correctly. Have it lengthened, or shortened to a three quarter length.

I must have short arms I think I have the second one and it works great for me. But - I can wear petite sizes and it was not petite.

I just got my Paris jacket back from my new tailor, and it has similar sleeve detailing. I was only charged $20 for shortening the sleeves - with retaining of the detailing. I am still in shock at how cheap that was!

Only downside is that this tailor has a brisk wedding business so it can take a week or weeks to get something back from her... but at those prices (and considering she's on my early morning walking route).... I can deal with that!!!

I was quoted $40-50 everywhere else.
