Has anyone seen these Okalas IRL?

I am very very tempted by these... when the black and white splotchy ones were out last year I put "something similar but with a black strap instead of cognac" on my wish list.

Just wondering if anyone has seen them, or could check them out if they do a Nordies run in the next week or so. I'm wondering what colour the "ivory" is. If it's really really creamy, or beigy, I'm not interested. But if it's just "off-white" then I am.

Would love any input you might have!

I have not seen IRL but I am a big YAY for you. I think the stripes would be fun and would allow you to wear both darks and lights. I absolutely adore two tone shoes. Adore.

I owned a very similar pair of Sam Edelman's - same pony or calfhair/zebra print, different style (I think these shoes were a season or two before the Okala) - and I LOVED them. I actually just sold these last week on eBay - I keep bruising my right big toenail, and I am sizing up in shoes these days to accomodate that.

I can tell you that the materials were gorgeous - very luxe. I have seen very few animal prints in pony/calfhair that I liked as much as these. I always got a lot of compliments when I wore them. If I ever find a pair of Sam Edelman's in a 6.5, Okala, or this older shoe (in good condition), I will buy them. I really really loved these shoes.

I would say if you can find the Okalas, grab them.

ETA: I just realized that the Okalas you posted aren't a sold-out shoe! I'm going to pull the trigger in another ten days, when I have another paycheck under my belt!

Let me also add, that the shoes I had, worked really well with both my white button-down shirt, and a softer white skirt I used to own.

I saw those Shannon, but much prefer the stripes to the pattern on the Bay ones. Unfortunately... it'd be great not to pay shipping and duty! Although the base price is comparable. Worth it for me.

And thank you LaBelle! Those look like identical fabric, not too creamy at all. Will be pulling the trigger very soon then. Looks like we'll be shoe twins before long!

I agree Suz, they'll be workhorses for me I think.

I hope they're the same color black and white! I bought the pair you saw in the photos, in spring 2013 on clearance at Marshalls, so I assume they were from at least 2012.

I'll wait a day or so to see if anyone chimes in that has seen these. But I think your feedback is worth the gamble -they are so similar in pattern, and the same designer... well, just seems highly likely it'd be the same.
