I think someone tried the slingbacks but they wouldn't stay on her foot. But I might be imagining that because that would likely be their fate on my foot, and I wish it were not so! Having said that, I have the Sarto closed loafer from a few years back and it is one of the only loafers that have ever stayed on.

The middle pair are quite inexpensive, which is good, but I prefer the first black pair . A little more refined. I'm really craving a mule, and don't want hardware . The silver slingback is just pure fun Not a need at all. Not sure what I'll do. Apparently we can order to Canada now, so depending on shipping cost, I may just go for it!
Interesting update: the middle brown croc pair cannot ship to Canada for some reason . And get this: $80 in duties and taxes for 2 pair of shoes. I don't think so! So much for Nordstrom
Ouch! I can sympathise as we get huge shipping fees and our Exchange rate is very unattractive. Sadly the things I am shipping at the moment include parts like DC converters and aircraft hardware.....
Duties are tricky! I fussed around with my order until I was over $135 CDN for free shipping but under some threshold I never did exactly pin down to not pay duties. My order before tax was about $146. I think barely $20 more than that duty kicks in.
