Has anyone seen the Halogen 'Half Moon' in cognac IRL?

I need a cross body bag for fall, and had dismissed the Halogen 'Half Moon" Tassled Cross-Body because I'd like a cognac bag, and the cognac color looks like mottled mustard yellow/lavender in the online photo. But the bag looked so great in Phoebe's photos that I'm thinking I should check it out. Has anyone seen it to know whether the cognac color is nicer IRL?

Wow - the catalog pic is not flattering in the least, and Phoebe's pic is beautiful.

Did Greg work some magic, or does Nordies need to hire new photographers?

It says black is at our MOA Nordies and I'm going there today (again!) so will look at it.

I just received this bag in cognac. It is lovely!

There is some mottling to the leather color, but in a way that makes it look rich, much more subtle than the photo on the Nordstrom website. The 'cognac' is on the lighter brown side, rather than dark-orange-ish, and it plays well with denim blues, camel, olive, warm red, eggplant, and other fall colors.

The lines are very simple and streamlined and the tassel is fun, but easily removed or tucked into the bag. As shown in Phoebe's photo the bag molds to fit around the hip, and it is large enough to tuck in an 8x11 notebook - although it will not close over a 3-ring binder.

I am so happy to have gotten this bag. it was a splurge but I will easily use it for the next decade. Who am I kidding -- I am on Team Keep so look for me using this bag in 2031.

Laurinda - thanks for your input on the bag. I ordered it, too, and I think its LOVELY. I'm so glad you're going to keep it and put it to good use for decades to come! Sadly, it's too big for me, as I really need something I can stuff into my computer/messenger bag when I bike to work, so I returned it last night. I contemplated keeping it for use on the weekends, but the practical side of me decided I need to get something that can function for both purposes. I'm contemplating this one, in camel.

I just broke the seal on my cognac version.

Still LOVE it - It is roomier than it looks.
