I haven't worn a denim skirt in at least 10 years, but recently I've gotten obsessed with the idea of a black one, specifically one in a faded black denim. Bonus if it has some distressing or raw hems. The thing is, black denim skirts are not all that common and most are either pencils (which I don't want) or really, really short. My thighs are really long so a lot of the truly mini ones are pretty indecent on me.

I ordered this cool asymmetric one in the finds below, but I think I'm going to send it back because it's borderline too short/high waisted and also not that comfortable even in a size up, because it has zero stretch which I didn't realize when I ordered it. But it's a good example of what I'm looking for.

My criteria:
--black denim with some fading or distressing
--a-line shape (NOT a pencil)
--above the knee but not super short. I would say probably 20" is ideal. I would also be OK with a longer one that I could hack myself.
--not too high rise
--not too stiff
--bonus if it has asymmetrical hems or something like that
