Has anyone seen a cheaper version of this dress?

I saw this red silk dress in Instyle and have fallen in love with it. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately for my budget), I haven't fallen in love the price. Has anyone seen a dress similar to this? I'd consider trying to make it, but silk can be a finicky fabric to work with and I'm not quite ready for that yet.

The dress is from Buring Torch and it's called Firebird.

Maybe do a Pinterest search or search Go Chic or Go Home. Also a Google image search or Polyvore search. Modcloth used to let you search on color, not sure if they let you do that still, but you could also try there.

Also, maybe see if you can find a pattern that you can alter slightly to match the dress, and try making it up first in an inexpensive polyester?

Beautiful dress! I like the idea of trying to make it in poly or maybe a tencel first, perhaps a little easier to work with.
