I don't know why the price at Amazon is so high. It's not bad if you buy it from the author (first link). I just hoped for more input before I put $20+ books towards another fashion book.
My friend who recommended it doesn't actually own it or I would see if I could borrow it.
So many of these wardrobe/style books have similar titles. But I've never heard of this one.
I see she has the reader fill out questionnaires and then it reveals what type you are.
She seems to use 4 style types: casual, romantic, expressive, can't remember the other.
Problem with questionnaires is that you get an answer based on predetermined categories she's limited you to.
When I first saw the title of your thread, I thought yes! But we're not talking about the same book. I read this one, something completely different, of course. http://www.amazon.com/Its-So-Y.....038;sr=8-2
I just checked eBay and a few other sites, but there's no sign of it there either, sorry Brenda.
Angie, there are often outrageously priced books on Amazon. Sometimes just because out of print and sometimes, as with Simple Isn't Easy for awhile, because there was notoriety, such as over how the author died from liposuction, I think it was. Doesn't mean anyone is actually going to pay those prices.
So I'm home sick and read most of the preview (it's more like random pages). It is VERY conservative. Advocates monochrome dressing. She does not like the bikini at all. It may work for some, but definitely not me. She's definitely not like Angie, I don't see a fun element.
