I feel like these updates without pictures fall a little flat but I wanted to share anyway. YLF has been such a useful resource and supportive community that I feel like you should share in my success. I feel like this year, despite the fact that I've gained a little weight back, that my shopping and wardrobe building has been really satisfying and successful. I know what works and what suits me and I'm learning how to balance my desire for novelty with my budget and my other priorities in life.

I am nuts about all the blush colors showing up in stores this spring. I've already gotten a lightweight sweater from ON (basically free after my birthday month discount on clearance) and a drape-front blazer from the BR Factory Store (can't find it online). I stopped by H&M yesterday and brought home a darker pink pair of skinny jeans, but I'm not sure if I'll keep them or not. I need to try some outfits using them, which hopefully I'll have time to do this weekend.

The two first shoes in the Finds arrived and worked out, so I should be set for sandals this summer along with the black sandals I found in I think January at NR on mega-sale (woohoo out of season bargains). The silver Boden wedges did not fit me, so they're on their way back - I'm 0 for 2 with trying Boden shoes, so I think I'll just stop trying them; there's something about the translation from the Euro sizes that just isn't working for my feet. The white LLB sneakers also got sent back - I thought they'd be a slam dunk but when I tried them on I just didn't like the vibe. Very nice quality for the price, though.

I tried on a pair of CJ by Cookie Johnson jeans at Nordstrom last week; they were very soft and lovely, but I just couldn't deal with the >$100 price tag for something that would be weekend wear for me. So I went on ebay, found the same size and style in a different color, and won the auction for 1/4 the price. Woohoo!

Also got a new, desperately needed, robe. The trail runners I ordered didn't work out, so those still need to be replaced, but my other workout shoes are reasonably new. (I want to train for a half marathon starting in April.)

I've still got a wishlist, and new brands and stores I want to try, but they can wait until closer to summer. I'm working on being ok with 'enough'.
