I've been drooling at J.Crew for awhile but today I jumped at my first order. It's a dress I've been watching and considering, and it went on sale recently. Today I noticed sizes vanishing so I decided to go for it. And the website wouldn't work! I don't know why... it just didn't like me.
So I called and the woman was so nice. It took her a while to get the system to accept my address. I live on a 300+ mile highway and it can be tricky to get it entered correctly. We finally got that figured out and got the dress ordered. At her suggestion, she put a note on the order that I can return it if it doesn't work even though it's on final sale. AND she gave me free shipping! I said nothing to push for those things. She just gave them to me anyway.
And what I ordered... a denim dress, which I've been wanting, that is a little sheath-like. So many denim dresses have waists that usually aren't in the right place on me. I do better without the waist specifically defined. I hope it works.
