Things are pretty turbulent right now in the world political scene.... and down here at the bottom of the world our PM and her partner have just had a baby daughter yesterday.

Jacinda Ardern is the second elected leader to have a baby in office (after Bhutto from Pakistan) and the first in 30 years. She worked until she went into labour.

Ardern is taking six weeks maternity leave and her partner Clarke Gayford will be the full time caregiver. It will be busy and exciting times for them!!
