I haven't seen a Happy Moments post in a week or two, and I hope Diane won't mind if I start a thread this week! We had amazingly happy news this weekend -- my son, who will be finishing his active duty in the Marine Corps on Tuesday, got word that he's been accepted into the Master's program in Marriage and Family Therapy at San Diego State University! Woo hoo!! The whole family is happy and excited and over the moon! He starts in June and will be staying with me until school starts. And he and I are hoping to squeeze in a trip to England, France, and Spain in the meantime.
Here he is all dressed up in his uniform for his admissions interview, which was just last week. Apparently he made a big impression because it didn't take long for the school to say "yes!"
