As I reached for a button to replace the one that popped off the inside of my pants, I noticed silly little strawberries and soccer balls and other shapes on the store rack next to the basic clear button I was reaching for. It's unlikely that anyone else will ever see it, so why not give myself the smile of a goofy smiley face?
This reminds me of a favorite pair of pants that had lovely floral fabric for the facing near the waist and said something like "you are beautiful" inside the waistband in back. Pure commercial tripe, I realize, but I liked it.
What parts of your wardrobe that no one else sees give you a little smile?
