DH and DD took me to a long brunch at my favorite restaurant (this one, if anyone is ever in the area and wants a real treat: http://www.craigieonmain.com... their specialty is cooking up organically grown, local vegetables in wonderful dishes. Not a vegetarian place - they just have really great respect for veggies and fruit. This is the type of place that Padma would approve of. Then my surprise was going on a Duck Tour. Don't laugh - I've never been on one and have always been intrigued!

I wore my KC metallic wedges - which I had thought I'd fully broken in - but unfortunately, by the end of the day, despite not really walking all that much, I was in agony with some blisters. I think when I got the pedicure recently they sloughed away my calluses. Oh no.

For presents I got more of my favorite moisturizer, the new Kendall Farr book (about to retire to read it) and yes.... after conferring with my DD16 to get her opinion, I ended up with a Bebe bomber jacket... it's the purple-ish grey one here in the header bar (no longer available for sale):
