Thank you everyone for your wonderful birthday greetings! I had a lovely day with my husband and kids. My loot includes a hand-painted coffee jar (my son), hand-painted coffee mug (twin daughter #1) and a hand-painted vase complete with flowers (twin daughter #2). Truly they are my greatest gifts.
The cheesecake my husband made was quite tasty. I am saving up my loot gathering for a very exciting trip we have planned for the summer break. Normally we go to NewYork/Toronto and/or Florida to visit family during the summer, but we saw everyone at a family wedding recently, so we have decided to take the kids on their first European vacation and spend some time in Italy. We will be in Rome, Florence and Venice and are very excited.
Angie, I want to say a special thanks to you. I was so touched by your thoughtful and warm birthday message. I probably am one of your earliest readers, and you have continued to amaze and touch me with your graciousness and kind, good heart. I have gained so much from you and participating on the forum with the other wonderful women here - I only wish I had words to express how much I appreciate everything you do. Indeed, it is a shame we didn't meet while you were in Israel, but I do have a dream to visit some very old and dear friends that live in Seattle (whom I haven't seen in over 15 years!) and if I ever manage it, you can be certain I will be seeing if you (and the other Seattle members) are free!
