Well. Fifty has never looked as special as it does on gorgeous you right this second. And it will only get better. You inspired me before sweet and wonderful Shannon, but the over 50 year-olds on this forum hold as extra special place in my heart. So now you will inspire me *even more*.

Where do I begin with how extraordinary you are. To be succinct, you are sunshine on a cloudy day. A good egg. Always smiling. Always enthusiastic. Always finding solutions. Always generous. Always loyal, encouraging and supportive. Always helpful, thoughtful and patient. Always in touch with your feelings in the most earnest and down to earth way. Always motivated, bubbly, fun, polite, wise and willing to learn. Always soul searching and finding peace within your heart - so that you can help others find peace in their hearts. You are respectful and open minded. You are blessed with THE BEST attitude and the ability to bounce back when things are tough. That dear Shannon, this is a powerful gift that energizes this forum enormously.

You are also extremely appreciative of YLF and do not hesitate to tell us so - often!!! You comment on every single blog post and extend your thanks in bucket loads. I cannot tell you how much that means to me and how I appreciate you for who you are and what you do on and for YLF. THANK YOU.

And then you know, there's your KILLER style. We see it blossom through your musings that have me in stitches. "Oh! I don't like trousers because I'm a frock and skirt gal. I'm not wearing trousers anymore". And then you rock trousers for a season and change your mind :). Or, "Oh! I don't like my BFs", and then you love them. But you move onto to liking your slouchy skinnies even more :). Sometimes you love to thrift.....and sometimes you never want to thrift again. And then you move from always wearing heels to liking flats. Yours is a forever fun style journey that keeps us all amused as well as learning. You have a great deal of innate fashion flair and I love seeing your daily outfits. They make me smile because I can see and feel the joy that your style has brought to you.
