Awww, thank you so much, Angie and all YLFers! It really brings joy to my heart to find such a nice, supportive, fun, talented and stylish community here, with all of us sharing the same goals, everyone mostly positive (but--this is important--room for the occasional vent and self-pity

I had better get offline as it's too much fun to be lurking around and learning about style from all angles. Will go and see a movie later--and I will wear a skirt and boots for it

Oh, I had to just add one more thing. I turn 48 today. I saw this video recently, and it profoundly changed the way I'm thinking about aging...at least it's working for now. I have no bad feelings at all about my age at the moment, and am looking forward to getting my style down, learning new things and enjoying life as I get older.

Thanks again, everyone! (I keep forgetting that this isn't "my" post, so I can't rate anyone's comments I had a low-key but very nice day and the best part of it was all the well-wishes here and on Facebook. By the time I took outfit pics the light wasn't good anymore so they didn't come out well. Anyway, I'm so pleased I found this place!
