I know you’re not mushy but I am so I’m going to get straight to the point by saying that you are very much loved on this forum! We thoroughly enjoy your cerebral thought processes, engaging comments and candid opinions. You rock a creative and fabulous style on a tight budget and have the prettiest dark brown eyes I’ve ever seen.

But what I appreciate most about you sweet Maya, is your loyalty to YLF and your willingness to help others, especially when it comes to shoe issues and bras! YLF turns four in one month and you have been with us virtually since its inception. That’s one hek of a ride. I have seen you grow from our forum baby, to toddler, and now preschooler. I can’t wait to see you blossom into your tweenies :0)

Yay! I hope you're having the bestest birthday ever, Maya.

You are one of my favourite YLFers, and have been since I first started posting on the forum. (Funny story: in the beginning, I was convinced that you were actually my best friend from high school- also called Maya, also a petite, dark-haired hourglass/apple, with a tendency for hilarious honesty- and was really confused as to why she was pretending to be from New Jersey. I soon figured out that you were in fact a different person, but it still freaks me out how similar you two are. That's why I know I'll love you when we finally get to meet!)

All of you are angels, which I think makes YLF heaven. To be honest, I am having a sort of lousy day and I'm not feeling very celebratory. I was again turned down for a job I interviewed for last week, and my bday marks my one year anniversary of unemployment, so what a way to remind me of that. All in all I am in a rather sour mood. But all your lovely messages were very uplifting and at least kept the tears at bay, so thank you. I'm sure I'll have more positive things to say later, when I'm not at work.

Well "Boo!" to that employer that turned you down! They just don't have a clue to the awesomeness that is MAYA! Well your birthday weekend is not starting off well, BUT you tell "Mumbles" (that's your inner twin that wants to sulk and be negative) to give it a rest until Monday.
