Thanks everyone! I'm glad there is still one place in the world where I am considered young, hehe.

I don't think I'll be going away completely during my shopping ban, but I might not comment on pictures or about specific items because seeing everyone looking fab and finding fab things always makes me want new stuff. This was not a planned shopping ban so it's even tougher than usual. Luckily Persian New Year is coming up, and among my favorite traditions is that we have to wear new clothes, so I'll get some relief.

(I empathize with you re: starting a shopping ban. I just broke mine temporarily, but am generally also on a ban with the exception of consignment shopping, jeans, and shoes. It's HARD, and it is indeed even harder to see fab outfits on YLF and wanting to head right to the store... We gotta find ways to keep the wonderful community on YLF going while keeping the temptations in check.)

It is hard Antje! Right now it's not so bad because my winter wardrobe feels pretty solid, but once summer comes I'm going to be very frustrated. I have exactly one dress, no clams, and 2 pairs of shorts I have a few skirts but not enough tops to wear with them. All my hopes rest on thrift stores, where I don't generally have much luck.

I can't even really make any exceptions because my priority, as always, is comfy shoes.

Eva, it's still too cold to bring out the biker, but not for long! I did wear my new boots today though.

I sure hope so Angie! Swaps have become my favorite way of obtaining (and giving away) clothes

I have only been asked to work 2.5 days in 2 weeks I'm pretty broke. Luckily birthday money accounted for the cost of the boots so I don't have to feel too bad about that, but from now on, there is going to be some major penny-pinching.
