Oh, girls, thank-you so much! Angie, you are not one day late; it is my birthday today, Friday 12 :). And you are such an angel for taking the time to write when you are busy with visitors.
My celebrations started last night with the Edinburgh Tattoo; wonderful bands performing against a laser light show on the walls of Edinburgh Castle - amazing. Even the Dutch Army Bicycle Band performed, Angie, wearing.....helmets! Granted, they were part of the WW1 mililitary uniforms :). The Dutch gag where the cyclist has an accident and the paramedics rush on and stretcher off the bike, leaving the wounded cyclist behind, was a crowd pleaser for all, and got our loudest cheers :).
Today we strolled through the city, saw a show, and enjoyed dinner on the way home.
Thank-you, wonderful friends, for this lovely supportive community where I can post my modest fashion forays - successes and faux-pas - into the pot with yours :). And if I have been too direct, I do sincerely apologize. This community is one of things that makes my very blessed life so full and I wouldn't intentionally jeopardize the supportive spirit of forum.
