As Angie starts her second day in the NAS trenches, it's my pleasure to kick off your birthday thread.
You have been with us for a little over four years now, and you are a true YLF Treasure. You are our Queen Blue, Queen Preppy Boho, Queen Blazer, Queen Sweetheart, the Ruler of the Kingdom of the Closet Challenge*, and you are firmly on Team Repeat the Outfits That We Love (as are Angie and I). The twinkle in your beautiful blue eyes continues to charm me, and your killer smile lights up the forum each time you post photos. Since day one, you have commented on every single blog post and that never goes unnoticed, thank you so much! You're always there to support our forum members too, very thoughtfully jumping in to help others and commenting on forum threads that got a bit lost in the shuffle.
You have a kind and calm way of expressing your thoughts and opinions, you are open-minded, problem-solving and super positive, making all your posts a delight to read. We also love how you post creative variations on the same outfit (there's a lot to be learnt from that), and how you include the details and the thought process behind each outfit.
*And then there's this year's epic DH Closet Challenge! Your methodical approach and the way you applied your impressive analytical powers to carry out your "threshold" experiment has us all wowed! Following your progress all these months has been a real treat, and to say that I've personally learnt a lot from it, is a big understatement. And I know I'm not alone in this: you've inspired many forum members to cast a critical eye over their own closet and "outfit creation behaviour". A big thank you for generously taking the time to document your progress on the forum so that everyone can benefit from your experiences. These posts contain food for thought for years to come.
We could rave all day about wonderful you, Lisa, but we don't want to keep you from the important matter at hand, which is starting your birthday celebrations
