I'm off for some shopping with my sister and Mum in a little while, and there will definitely be chocolate, books and laughter involved;-)

(And it will be a special weekend too, not in the least because I'll get to meet some lovely YLF lasses on the phone!).

I think that I am a day late but wishing you a belated happy birthday. Thank you for your incredibly helpful and thorough searches. When I first posted an outfit I remember you told be about a site for scarves called Nimli. Well I purchased one for myself and several Christmas presents from them. Happy Birthday, you are an inspiration always!!

That's so sweet of you to let me know Jean. Which colour did you get for yourself? And are you happy about the quality (I've yet to order from them myself, so I'm curious to know).

So happy it is still your birthday! I got a mustard yellow which is a beautiful color!
The wool was a little thin and wrinkles a bit. The colors are beautiful, I don't know where you can order such a variety. I used a coupon and got a discount. The scarves ended up being around 15.00 a piece. All in all for the color choice and price I was happy with them. Definitely not a scarf for warmth. Enjoy the rest of your day!!

I had a marvelous day, I'm having a marvelous weekend actually (with the YLF phone call yesterday to boot!).

Jean: thanks for the scarf info, I think I'm going to have a look around on their site again, I could use some more Summer scarfs.

Oh then you should definitely get it Antje! The book has gorgeous pictures of the works of art and it's very interesting to read about female literacy throughout the ages.
