Sarah, you are AMAZING, and I can't believe that I haven't met you yet. But I hope too! You have been on this forum for a while and enrich it with your humble modesty, logical thought processes, intelligence, extremely kind words that are ongoing and supportive, KILLER style and unstoppable cycle chic. You are so fab!

Zap, I have had the pleasure of meeting you, and our time together was too short! You are very helpful and kind, always offering to help people out when they are in need. And being calm and gentle about it too. And I love your straight shooting persona! I also like Granny's wisdom that creeps through onto YLF from time to time :). High ponytails are not an easy look to sport, yet you wear one with all the sass and sophistication in the world. Plus, you fill out a pair of flared jeans and trousers with the best of them. You are so fab too!

I hope that you feel celebrated and special today. Thanks for being rocking forum members.

Thank you all of the birthday wishes.As far as my plans today, I took off from work planning to get a three day getaway that did not happen. The inn we were going to stay in had a power surge issue and had no AC. For a person with Rosacea, like me, heat is like the kiss of death, so I decided to cancel. My family treated me to a shopping spree instead.
This guy came home with me. I have been stalking it for months now:

However, the fact that I have my health back is my greatest gift of them all. I was still ill this time last year.

Thank you all for your sweet birthday wishes. I celebrated my birthday by...

...getting a mammogram! Honestly, I didn't really think about it when I scheduled it. But hey, all's clear for this year, so that's a birthday present, right? And hubs made dinner for the family and we had my favorite cake, which is strawberry shortcake (perfect for a July birthday, right?).

Happy, happy birthday, Zap - your bag is gorgeous, and it's great to hear about your health.

And happy birthday again to all the july-born YLFers - wow, there seem to be a lot of us!

Sarah, I love seeing your fab no-nonsense style and reading your warm and thoughtful posts and advice. I always think of you when I see nude boots because yours bookend your hair so beautifully. Good for you for getting your mammogram on your birthday--glad it's normal. I've had a couple of patients that had colonoscopies on their birthdays too!

Zap, my Kate Spade trench twin, I love your WIW's with your sleek urban style and dark glossy high ponytail. And your analysis is always spot on, I appreciate your help. Thanks again for the yummy fruit! I did not know you were ill, but am glad that you are doing better now and are healthy again! Oh, and great bag--what a nice present!
