I usually help my parents every second weekend, but unfortunately, because of the corona virus haven't been able to go there for three months. In what we didn't know was going to be our last weekend together in foreseeable time, my Mum (87), who enjoys crocheting, offered me, who loves shawls and wraps, to crochet a shawl/wrap in whatever colour, pattern and material I would like. The photos show the result. I received it by mail a couple of days ago, with a lovely letter.
The colour is soft blue, the pattern is beautiful waves, and the material is baby wool, which is pleasant to wear year round. Best of all, it is handmade with love, by one of the dearest persons in my life.
