I've been looking for something cute and sleek and orange, but instead I bought a big shiny blue-green bag from one of the discount places. I mean, it's not like my wardrobe is predominantly blue or green or anything... sigh *roll eyes at self*

I guess at least I know what colors I like!

The only bag I'm lusting over is a large tote I saw a little while back. I held it, pet it for a while, and ended up not buying it. Sadly, it sold out.

I desperately need a large enough bag to accomodate my laptop and necessities in one. The bag gets revamped every season but as it turns out, the hadware is no longer gold but silver. I know most people prefer silver hardware, but I do like gold.

Long story short, I will not be buying anything unless I see this specific bag, in the gold hardware version.

I use my bags all year long, even light bags in winter, so color is not really a consideration for me.

Wow, I just realized I have bought 4 bags in the past month or so! Python, two natural straw, one with wood handles and one with leather handles, and the tan leather Bannana Republic bag I found at the consignment store today! Add my bright blue dyed Elliott Lucca and I think that's a pretty good start.

I would like to find a canvas cross-body that's really unstructured and packable that I can take hiking or to the beach and not worry about.

I'll be honest, my purple Fossil has had liittle use this last year. Circumstances had me either housebound or walking. I take my wallet only to lighten my load when on foot.
So I will be looking forward to actally using my Fossil, more than twice a month going out to eat lol!
In the future I could see a brightly colored small crossbody possibly. But then again, much as I try, I'm really only a one-at-a-time kind of bag girl.

Hm, I use most of mine year-round, but definitely feel drawn to my bright yellows, my bright red, and less structured cuts in summer.

I'm a one at a time bag girl too Mo! I have a small collection thanks to my SIL giving me fab bags, but at the moment I don't have anything that is perfect or that I want to tote around all spring/summer. I have a too big bronze woven Cole Haan and a too small woven red Cole Haan (both SIL). I bought a Tignanello green crossbody for NYC meet up (and it worked perfectly, but it is not for my everyday life - too small) I'd like something white or cream or orange. I had a fab white one last year from BCBG (SIL again) but the handle broke. Angie found a great multi colored bag at the Rack in NYC (white, tan and orange I think or was it pink/white/orange?), but I think it was too big for me. Kind of beach bag tote size.

My search for a navy crossbody has finally come to an end (I think). This little beauty will be arriving tomorrow via UPS. It's the Tignanello Pebble Leather Domed Satchel with removable strap in midnight. This is the only handbag on my spring/summer list as the majority of my nine handbags were purchased within the past year. I do have a printed Nicole Miller satchel and a purple hobo that will come out to play once the fall/winter bags are put away.

Before I saw the polka dot bag in person, I was planning to look for either a coral or emerald green bag. I was actually starting to lean toward the emerald green. I had one a few years ago and it was great. It doesn't match with anything but goes with almost everything. I don't have any green (except a layering t and teal cardi) so I don't have to worry about matching, clashing or coordinating. I wear more orange, coral and red so I would have to really think about what I was wearing with it.

Rita, I sill think you'll need a bright bag too, even with your poka dot love in transit. Maybe you can find one that's not too expensive. I love the way you explained how you found a color that matched nothing but goes with everything. I'm looking for a bright yellow belt, and since I don't wear yellow, I'm hoping it will be the same way.

I have my eye on a bag from Rae's Korean site. I just don't know if I will be happy with it (the size, leather quality, weight) and obviously don't want to send it back to Korea! However, it has all of my "must have" features that I am constantly finding bags lacking in, and it is a good price. It would end up having to be neutral though, but at this point I don't have a bag that is bigger than a wallet ATM.

Now you've got me thinking about whether or not it will seem to heavy in our summer here!

I was on the lookout for red or orange, and had been looking for the right one most of the year.

I'm hopeless when it comes to bags. I need to be schooled.

I have an emerald green one I thrifted a while back and also found a Mat & Nat green straw bag with brown leather handles, so I think I'm covered for green (lol!) - but I'm thinking of getting a neutral bag too but haven't found one that speaks to me yet...maybe something in cream...

I've fallen head-over-heels for Claire's Monty and may never find a bag to measure up to it. However, I'm excited for spring to come to break out a nude/blush bag I found last fall at DSW and haven't had a chance to use yet. But Monty has my heart even if I don'w have Monty.

Well, my spring bag purchase was that Kate Spade orange slice straw bag! I already used it this weekend--fun!

I have two new-to-me bags I plan to use this spring and summer. Here are my new gray Fossil convertible tote and a cream-colored The Sak tote I found at a consignment shop. I also have a little emerald green cross body bag so I think I'm set.

I just received this yellow tote (need to try loading it up and do a K/R post).

Between that and my recently purchased red patent clutch, I have the large and small ends of the spectrum covered.

I'm still on the lookout for a small-medium brightly colored crossbody or shoulder bag.

I ordered two bags yesterday. I will definitely keep the striped. I have a lot of totes and want a cross body with some color blocking. The 3rd is the one of my dreams...but I will only get it if it goes on sale. WAIT !!!!!!!!! My birthday is in 4 weeks and my husband feels badly that I was so sick this year....BINGO !

I'm told that orange is the IT colour this season and I see it everywhere here. I love orange but it has to be a certain shade to compliment my skintone. I would love to had an orange purse to my closet but still a little apprehensive about actually carrying it in public as I think deep down I'm still pretty much conservative in the handbag department.

Hmm good question! It's been fun seeing what everyone is looking at. Last summer I used my cream bucket and gold bags almost exclusively, with the occasional red and navy getting use. This year I have a bright red-orange bag which I'm looking forward to using in summery outfits, and I would really like to add a black-and-white or turquoise bag, and VERY much want to find a colorblocked bag!

Hmm...i'm not sure. I'm not too much of a bag person. I *might* picked up a neon bag for spring/summer but i've been debating over the messenger style because they tend to drive me a little crazy and i end up trying to stuff all of my belongings in the outside pocket. @_@

Maybe a statement oversized clutch?

Mostly i have my eye on shoes. As usual.
