Halogen Side Tab Jacket--Help! Pics Added

I'm still on the hunt for a blazer--has anyone seen or tried this one on? It has a bit of stretch which is always a plus. Team Shoulder, do you think it's worth a try--narrow lapels, no puffy sleeves, no chest pockets. I'd have to order it--it's not at my local store. Thoughts?

ETA: Okay, I had some errands to run in town so I nipped into Nordstrom for a quick try on. (Apparently, I wasn't using the "locate in store" feature properly--duh.) What do you think? Open, closed, back, side, back again. Apologies in advance for all the pics! BTW, this is the small. Thanks!

I had a Halogen jacket that color a few years ago--it was a corduroy without wales--can't think of the name right now. That was the best jacket--I wore it all the time and it went with almost everything I had. Definitely order it.

Kelly, can't wait to see the pics! You're right - it has all the elements that would work for those of us with a strong shoulder line!! The tabbed waist is a total bonus too - I find that with wider shoulders, it's always hard to get waist definition when I leave a jacket open so this is a great detail to have.

Oh WOW, Kelly! I hesitated to comment before because I do not have good luck with these kinds of jackets, but this looks fantastic on you! Are you in regular or petite?

Una, this is a small regular (Medium was too big, didn't bother trying XS.) The sleeves are tucked under about an inch or so. I didn't see it in petites. I think the length is good on this one--I expect it would be cropped on someone of average height. For sizing reference, I tried the MK Chanel style boucle jacket (from YLF store) in an 8P and couldn't raise my arms high enough to take a pic. THAT jacket is gorgeous but made me look like a truck on top.

This jacket gets my vote, looks fine fit wise. I prefer this jacket open versus closed to see more of the top detail underneath. I like this color on you to0.

I think this looks really, really cute on you! The color is fab too--it's neutral enough to be versatile, but interesting too! It looks like there might be a tiny bit of gathering at the shoulder/sleeves--it actually seems to work well on your swimmer build--fab! Yay for scoring a casual jacket! Patience pays off.

Thanks, Becky and Jonesy! I was doubtful that it would fit. My hope rested on the model photo--the shoulders looked enormous on her slight frame. For better or worse, I fill out every square inch of the shoulder and it's still comfy thanks to the stretch : ) Unless someone throws in a spanner, I'm going to order this baby!

Kelly, I wonder if medium in petite would fit a little better. This one seems snug across the top part of your arm/ shoulder.

I like that style on you allot your waist looks so small. I like my jackets with a little stretch also. Are you going to get the eggplant or charcoal?

Thanks, Angie. I didn't notice the pulling until I looked at the pics--I can see lines across the upper bicep area and sleeve cap. I have to say that it is comfortable on--but the wrinkles do bother me and look rather untidy. I'm going to keep looking : ) Thanks for saving me from yet another return! You rock!
