Halogen seamed skirt is back in green

I was poking around Nordstrom's web site and it looks like the Halogen seamed skirt is back and available in "chalet green" and "fever pink." Since I missed the bronze olive, I am all over the chalet green...

Hmmm, that looks exactly like the olive color to me. Doesn't look like they're doing petites, though. Go for it!

I know, it looks the same to me, too! I'm psyched!

I find that the petite skirts can be too short on me, so it doesn't really bother me to get the regular size skirts. If I have to have them hemmed, I can have them hemmed exactly where I want them. And at this price I don't (much) mind paying the tailor, you know?

I almost bought this now...remembering how fabulous it looks on everyone here that has it...it was in my cart and everything..

...then I realized that I am just barely now starting to wear the skirts that are already in my closet and my daily environment is really not a pencil skirt kind of place. So no go for me.

But I can't wait to see it on you MaryK!

Okay, that is weird to me. Sometimes they have regular and petite on the same page, and sometimes (this time) they are separate. Anyway, I ordered it in petite, too and we'll see which is best.

I'm so tempted! I know it probably won't still be available in April, but maybe I can make SYC last at least a bit longer, until they start running out of sizes...

Bleah, neither of the petite colors work for me! And I specifically said I would break SYC for this item. Luckily I did snap one up in December or so, but I really would like a true petite.

Thanks MaryK! I missed out on the NAS one, and bought the newer, unlined version. I decided not to keep it and returned it this past Friday. My sales associate confirmed that the original one is coming back, and she said she heard that it will be available in about 6 colors. I'm keeping an eye on it to see if they add any more colors.

In stores, it's also available in lavender purple. It runs SO BIG. Size down.

Ooooh, and I see the length on it is 22"! Perfect! The one I returned was only 20" and I was looking for one that was longer. Can't wait to get to the store!

I've got two burning questions about this skirt, and hopefully someone can set me straight!

1) Will the 0 fit me? I'm usually around a 2 (sometimes a 0, sometimes a 4) at ATL, gap, etc.

2) Is it the more blue green shade that I see in the picture with the model, or the yellow green in the picture of the skirt by itself? In other words, is it actually the same color as the bronzed olive?

The nearest Nordstrom is a 2+ hour drive, and I don't want to bother with shipping if there's no chance it's going to fit or be the right color.

I just saw them today at Nordstrom. My store is not getting in the petites, but I looked at the regular sizes. The green is a little more of a grassy/pastel shade compared to the olive green. The pink is BRIGHT! The grey is just as it looks on the website. My store also had a vivid lilac shade and of course black. Nothing for me, though.

MaryK my dear - whatever happened to your SYC pledge? Or am I just dreaming that you were once upon a time participating in that little challenge with the rest of us martyrs?
Kate - I usually wear a size 2 and none of the Halogen 0s ever fit me - just too big.

I have made an exception to SYC for things I have been stalking for a long time, like the Halogen seamed skirt and the perfect tan pumps (if I ever find them).

Believe me, I am shopping SO MUCH LESS than I want to! LOL

Well it's no secret that I love the NAS bronze olive version. The purple is sold out online now, so I hope the store will still have it by the weekend. *fingerscrossed*
