I have heard that they have changed the sizing and the seam placement on these ones.

Yes, so far most of the Nordstrom reviewers who had the previous version don't care for it as much now. I am interested in what YLF members that have had both on think of the changes to a thinner fabric, the sizing and seams.

I ordered a few and am not as happy with the new style. I think it makes my hips look big. I kept the dark camel one because I really need that color, but the red and the blue are going back. Still on the fence about the colorblocked black/purple one -- will have to do a K or R over the weekend.

The sizing is different, too. It's TTS now, and seems to be bigger in the waist and smaller in the hips than the former style.

Thanks, MK. Bummer. I was so happy with this skirt and am sorry they changed it. Bigger in the waist and smaller in the hips will not work for me.

Ooh, great to know! The old ones did NOT fit my saddlebags. If these have bigger hips, it might work for me. Worth a try since the cut has changed - thanks for the info!

The new skirt definitely runs TTS and the fabric is thinner than the old one. The *hug* was too close when I sized down to my old Halogen pencil skirt size, and every bump and bulge showed. FWIW, the new skirt didn't strike me as a lot bigger in the waist and smaller in the hips -- but like most skirts on me, it was big enough in the waist such that I will need to check the location of the side seams throughout the day to ensure they are in the right place.

I have to alter the old style to fit (waist small and hips big on me) so maybe I need to check these out again. I do love that camel color.
