@Ana: If I gain back the weight I lost, I will probably hem it. As it is, I need to roll the waist so it fits a bit tighter.
@Nadya: You are so right! Maybe it’s the lightness of weight that allows it to fall so softly and not be a huge horizontal line.
@Joy: Thanks for the advice to hang to dry since the label says to dry flat. This has a slit on one side so it’s pretty breezy.
@Firecracker: I was surprised that rolling the waistband didn’t add much bulk and that one roll gave a better finish than none at all.
@Janet: I think the skirt looks more faux than leather AND that you shouldn’t be afraid of at least THESE pleats. That being said, I think I saw a NAS (real?) leather skirt that was more your style. It was wrap or faux wrap.
I’m waiting for stuff to arrive before I take pics, but it looks like this can be a multi season skirt that will work with a wide range of toppers. I think it helps that I am now much more comfortable doing complete tucking since I lost a few pounds.
